Iceland is a place of extremes—glaciers, lava, and light that never stays the same. In these photos, I’m looking at how ice and volcanoes share the same space: calm next to chaos. Echoes of Ice and Fire shows the back-and-forth between a huge, quiet landscape and the small ways people exist inside it.
